Record Audio

This shortcut is for those times when you would like to record some audio onto your phone and it's safe and legal to do so. The shortcut saves the audio recordings to your iCloud file storage.

1. Run the shortcut.
2. The shortcut screen will go dark and a counter will appear on the screen to tell you how long you've been recording.
3. When you're done recording, tap the screen.
4. The shortcut will automatically save the recording to your iCloud storage.

1. The first thing the shortcut does is generate the file name of the shortcut using the current date and a random number.
2. The shortcut then saves the name of the file in a file in your iCloud storage.
3. Then the shortcut starts recording audio until you tell it to stop.
4. Once stopped, the shortcut saves the audio to your iCloud storage using the name it created earlier.
